Craft Stories That Matter
We believe every writer has a unique story to tell. Our courses provide the tools, techniques, and guidance to help you find your voice and share it with confidence.
Our Philosophy
We don't believe in teaching you how to write like someone else. Instead, we guide you in discovering what you want to say and how you want to say it. Through thoughtful exploration of language, structure, and narrative, we help you develop a writing practice that feels authentic and purposeful.
Our courses are designed for those who see writing not as a destination but as a journey. Whether you're crafting your first short story, exploring poetry, or working on a novel, we provide the structure and support to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Questions?
Our courses focus on developing your unique voice rather than following rigid formulas. We combine practical writing exercises with in-depth analysis of published works, creating a balanced learning experience that respects both craft and creativity. You'll receive personalised feedback that acknowledges your individual strengths whilst providing guidance for growth.
No previous experience is required for our Creative Writing Foundations course. We welcome complete beginners alongside those who have been writing for years. Our Advanced course is designed for writers who have completed foundational studies or have equivalent experience. Each course is structured to meet you where you are in your writing journey.
Our courses are self-paced, allowing you to learn at a rhythm that suits your schedule. Most students complete the Foundations course in 8-12 weeks and the Advanced course in 10-14 weeks, dedicating approximately 5-7 hours per week to study and practice. You'll have access to course materials for 12 months, giving you flexibility to revisit lessons as needed.
Yes, personalised feedback is a core component of our courses. You'll receive detailed critiques on your assignments from experienced writers and instructors, helping you understand your strengths and areas for development. Feedback is constructive, specific, and designed to support your growth whilst respecting your creative choices.
The Foundations course covers narrative structure, character development, dialogue, voice, and genre exploration. The Advanced course delves into sophisticated narrative techniques, literary style, revision strategies, experimental forms, and publication preparation. Both courses include reading assignments, writing exercises, and opportunities for peer discussion.
Absolutely. Whilst the courses include structured exercises, we encourage students to apply what they're learning to their own projects. Many students use the course as an opportunity to develop a short story, essay collection, or novel manuscript whilst receiving guidance and feedback.
